One of our hybrid polyurea coatings was applied at 1/8″ to these City and County of Honolulu steel plates with a sand/rock substrate to create greater traction. The purpose of this polyurea coating was to create an anti-slip coating to ensure that motorcyclists and pedestrians would not lose control and fall on Honolulu’s highways during heavy rainfall or other challenging conditions.
